- Step 6: Value Notices and Informal Review
Beginning in February of 2002, property owners will receive a notice of the new tentative appraised value. The property owner is encouraged to evaluate whether the market value appraisal appears reasonable. If it is, no further action is required. If it is believed that the proposed value is not an accurate appraisal of market value, instructions will be provided with the notice on how to arrange an informal review of the value with CLT. These reviews are intended to give the property owner a simple and efficient means for resolving any marked discrepancies.
If questions can’t be answered over the telephone, a valuation review may be scheduled around March 2002. At this review property owners will be able to sit down with a CLT employee to take a look at the information that was used in the valuation process.
