Message from the Commissioners:
Please be
advised that by action of the Fayette County Commissioners on August 5,
2009 the 2010 reassessment project has been suspended. All assessments
will automatically revert back to the prior valuations. Property owners
who may wish to file an appeal on their “old” valuation may do so by
contacting the Fayette County Assessment Office no later than September
15th. All property owners will receive a “Revised Notice of
Assessment” in the mail informing them of their “old” valuation that
will continue to be in place. That mailing will occur the week of
August 10th, 2009. The Commissioners and
staff of the Assessment Office ask that you direct any questions or
problems with the site to
assessment@fayettec.rba.com
